If indeed does indeed "shock us" at E3, it won't be because of price. In an investor's briefing today, Nintendo global president Satoru Iwata confirmed the company does not plan on revealing any pricing plans or release date for the Wii U at the annual show. Instead, Nintendo will follow a similar pattern to that of the 3DS reveal where they revealed more specific launch plans, like an official release date, price and more specific launch titles "sometime after E3", perhaps closer to the system's release date which is expected to be later this year. So what can we expect from Nintendo and the Wii U at this year's E3? According to Iwata, the company will discuss the details of the Wii U's final format along with the software lineup. Meanwhile, it looks like we've got our first look at the Wii U's NFC technology in a leaked trailer for Rayman Legends today. The videos shows players placing figurines on the tablet and then the items appearing in game, similar to Activision's Skylanders game. www.gamezone.com/products/wii-u/news/wii-u-release-date-price-to-be-announced-after-e3
